I practice depth-oriented psychotherapy in Cambridge, MA, and believe that a curious, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach is integral to a productive therapy process. I aim to create a safe and supportive space for you to challenge yourself, where I prioritize listening but am also an active participant in the conversation. I have great respect for the discretion and sensitivity that therapy necessitates, and will endeavor to help you feel in control of the direction of the therapy.
I have over 10 years of experience and advanced training in insight oriented and relational psychotherapy. Though I am comfortable working with people who are experiencing a wide range of problems, I specialize in issues related to low self-esteem, depression/ hopelessness, perfectionism, challenges in social/ romantic/ family relationships, feelings of loneliness/ isolation, and complex trauma.
Therapy is a place where we can help cultivate your curiosity about what happens and how it impacts you, intrinsically building self-compassion and confidence in how you move through the world. It is my job to help you feel more connected with your feelings, values, and sense of agency.
Working on your healing and growth is the most important project of your life. It is also one of the best ways to show up and care for your your loved ones. Loneliness is increasingly accepted as a major societal problem. What gets missed is how often a lack of connection to self is at the core of feeling distant from others.
