I practice depth-oriented psychotherapy in Cambridge, MA, and believe that a curious, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach is integral to a productive therapy process. I aim to create a safer space for you to explore all the different parts of yourself, where I prioritize listening but am also an active participant in the conversation. I have great respect for how long you have likely suffered with whatever brings you into therapy, and know that this process deserves care, attention, and time, as we undertake one of the most important projects of your life.
I have over 10 years of experience and advanced training in insight oriented and relational psychotherapy. Though I am comfortable working with people who are experiencing a wide range of problems, I specialize in issues related to low self-esteem, depression/ hopelessness, perfectionism, challenges in social/ romantic/ family relationships, feelings of loneliness/ isolation, and complex trauma.
Therapy is a place where we can help cultivate your curiosity about what happens and how it impacts you, intrinsically building self-compassion and confidence in how you move through the world. It is my job to help you feel more connected with your feelings, values, and sense of agency. My goal is to collaborate with you to create the best conditions possible for your healing journey.
Working on your healing and growth is the most important project of your life. It is also one of the best ways to show up and care for your loved ones, both in the present and the future you are investing in. Loneliness is increasingly accepted as a major societal problem. What gets missed is how often a lack of connection to self is at the core of feeling distant from others. I want to help you do the deep work that is necessary for changing your life.
